At times, we can be uncertain of the future of unseen life events that may come our way and, when it happens, it can be difficult to make the  right decision.

Some women can make decisions more easily than others in a pregnancy crises, whilst there are those women who are struggling with pregnancy decisions .They can feel there are no alternative choices due to pressure of unseen circumstances that can overpowering and may need of support in this critical time. 

 
Gateway Ministries aim to provide counselling support in this aspect.   We support clients by helping them to explore their feelings and concerns and help them to move forward in a safe, accepting, confidential, and non-judgemental atmosphere. but showing compassion and empathy. However, we give client the time and space to make their own decision.
 

Immediately after an abortion there are some women who are able to moved on and life return back as normal. However, for some the initial relief is been replaced with emotional difficulties, which were not expected for this may impact on their emotional well being. 

In addition, sometimes for one year after an abortion some women tend to bury these painful emotions feeling in order to survive. Furthermore, they keep it secret due to fear of rejection and judgmental of others such as family and friends which may hurt their feeling Additional soon after or years after the abortion most women may experience emotional feelings such as anxiety; depression; relationship difficulties; feeling a sense of regret and guilt; low-selfworth; sense of loss and emptiness, etc.
